TradeMark East Africa benefits from Dotsavvy’s robust and end-to-end managed services for its corporate website
TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) works closely with East African Community (EAC) institutions, national governments, the private sector and civil society organisations to increase trade by increased physical access to markets, enhanced trade environment, improved business competitiveness. In early 2014, Dotsavvy was the successful bidder for a project to realign the TMEA website which was launched in late 2014. The responsive TMEA website was completely rebuilt according to best practices from design, user experience (UX) and technology perspective and repositioned TMEA as a highly progressive organisation from a digital standpoint.
Realigning the TMEA corporate website was just the beginning. TMEA also required Dotsavvy to provide a broad range of critical managed services spanning everything from high availability website hosting, automated back-up and monitoring, daily content updates, SSL encryption, security patches, content distribution networks (CDNs), live streaming events and microsites. Over the past year, Dotsavvy has been able to deliver these services to the very high standards that TMEA required.
Dotsavvy has been running the TMEA website on an end-to-end basis for the past year within the expansive scope of work for the managed services engagement. During this time, website uptime improved dramatically as did overall traffic and the volume of content being published online on a nearly realtime basis by the Dotsavvy team. The TMEA website has also been extremely secure and thanks to the CDN loading time is greatly improved on a global basis.
