Daykio’s Global Digital Campaign
Daykio Plantations (Daykio) is one of Kenya’s leading real estate businesses with a core focus on purchasing and sub-dividing land in high growth areas into secure, accessible and affordable plots for commercial or residential buyers. Daykio also develops commercial and residential buildings whilst also providing real estate advisory services to a broad range of market segments.
In early 2015, Daykio engaged Dotsavvy to redesign its website which was needed due to its business growth and long-term ambitions. In so doing, Daykio also wanted to explore the prospect of using digital advertising as an avenue to acquire new customers and also build brand awareness in Kenya and beyond. Having only used traditional media for marketing up until that point, Daykio saw an opportunity to work with Dotsavvy to achieve a higher return on investment (RoI) via digital marketing.
Dotsavvy completely rebuilt the Daykio website so that it would be mobile responsive, have a much better design aesthetic, and feature an intuitive user experience. Dotsavvy then created a lead generation digital campaign for Daykio’s Bustani real estate development that targeted prospective customers in Kenya, the UK and the US, using Google and Facebook Ads. Dotsavvy also integrated marketing automation and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms to streamline lead generation and conversions for better campaign performance.
The Daykio Bustani digital campaign that Dotsavvy executed for Daykio was a massive success! Website traffic increased by close to 400% and leads generated rose by almost 1000%! Not only did we manage to acquire a large number of qualified leads, we also increased Daykio’s global brand awareness. As a result of the Bustani campaign, Dotsavvy now has an on-going engagement with Daykio for conversion-focussed digital campaigns.
