The Co-operative Bank of Kenya
The Co-operative Bank of Kenya (Co-op Bank) is one of Kenya's largest commercial banks in terms of revenues and geographical presence throughout Kenya. In the late part of 2007, Dotsavvy approached Co-op Bank with a proposition to realign their web site, which had been developed by Dotsavvy approximately 3 years prior. Shortly thereafter, Co-op Bank accepted Dotsavvy's proposal in January 2008.
The engagement involved completely redesigning the information architecture and creative design of the site. The goal was to create a web site that would be more user-friendly and more visually appealing than its predecessor. Dotsavvy also integrated a much improved content management system (CMS) that would enable Co-op Bank's designated personnel to make regular content updates in a much better way compared to the previously installed CMS. Lastly, Co-op Bank engaged Dotsavvy to implement a comprehensive online marketing campaign to build maximum visibility for the web site though leading search engines as well as leading regional media web sites.
